Runways x Avengers Academy // Avengers Academy #27 &amp; #28 covers by David Lafuente Runaways are back? In Avengers Academy?? How did I miss this news? I loved Brian K. Vaughan&#8217;s Runaways, but was really disappointed with Joss Whedon&#8217;s follow-up run. The gang still has a place in my fanboy heart, but let&#8217;s face it, nobody has done them justice besides BKV &amp; Adrian Alphona.That said, I have genuinely enjoyed Christos Gage&#8217;s run on Avengers Academy (and before that, Avengers Initiative) so here&#8217;s hoping for the best.Not sure who&#8217;s doing the art on the story. McKone&#8217;s okay, but I&#8217;d definitely prefer to see David Lafuente get a shot.

Runaways are back? In Avengers Academy?? How did I miss this news?

I loved Brian K. Vaughan’s Runaways, but was really disappointed with Joss Whedon’s follow-up run. The gang still has a place in my fanboy heart, but let’s face it, nobody has done them justice besides BKV & Adrian Alphona.

That said, I have genuinely enjoyed Christos Gage’s run on Avengers Academy (and before that, Avengers Initiative) so here’s hoping for the best.

Not sure who’s doing the art on the story. McKone’s okay, but I’d definitely prefer to see David Lafuente get a shot.
